Check out this "feel good" video that Buster and Jason found online. It's really makes us consider how we can do so much with so little. Humans are a great race!

Being a safe digital citizen in 2015's society

This term the Upper Middle Syndicate has been looking at how to stay safe on today's online society. We have been learning about the dangers that hide on the web and what it means to be a digital citizen. This knowledge will hopefully keep us safe in the forever changing and developing world of technology.

Head to the "ICT" page to check out our presentations. Please share them and help keep our friends and family safe online. We have even learnt how to embed these presentations online!

Enjoy our presentations, and remember to always stay safe on your device and the wider web.

Nelson speech competition - marking schedule

Here is the Nelson Speech Competition Marking Schedule for those who would like to know what we will be looking for within our classes. This schedule is also the marking criteria for the Nelson Speech Competition which we will be looking to send our winning syndicate speeches to.

Please remember to have someone listen to your speech, and mark you against the criteria to allow for non bias feedback.

Good luck and remember to speak clearly!

New homework - Playground research

As you all hopefully know by now, the PTA is looking to upgrade and develop a creative play and learning space to be developed over the next 3 years!

This weeks homework is a rather fun, creative one!

A booklet highlighting the initiative went home last week. In the middle of the booklet you will see a design page for print outs, drawings, ideas, ANYTHING!

Your task:
To research ideas you would like to see in our school yard! A great place to start is the web.
Miss Price has linked some cool websites to help you check out ideas - you may want to print these at school or even draw them up on in your booklet. Your parents might even have some fabulous ideas as well!

No idea is too big or too small, right or wrong!
